Martine Loertscher is a lawyer experienced in the legal support of human resources. She has more than 20 years of experience in labor law in Switzerland and at European level (global employment contracts, restructuring, litigation, individual dismissals in Switzerland and in European countries, work permit, expatriation, payroll, drafting of internal regulations etc.).

Through her practice in labor law, she has also acquired experience in social insurance law in connection with labor law, in particular unemployment insurance, old age insurance, as well as in private loss of earnings insurance (subject to the Federal Act on insurance contract). Martine Loertscher is also extremely experienced in matters of immigration, work permits, family reunification, secondment, obtaining C permits or Swiss nationality, including in the event of litigation.

Through her professional background, Martine Loertscher also has solid experience in business law, including the drafting of all types of contracts as well as litigation in relation to business law.

Before forming Mercuris Avocats together with Jean-Michel Clerc and Olivier Cherpillod, Martine Loerscher was a partner at Lexartis Avocats. Previously, she worked for 9 years in the legal department of Logitech Europe SA as Senior Manager in charge of legal advice to human resources and the establishment of new companies in EMEA.

Before this, she also worked as a lawyer at RWB Avocats, Lausanne (previously Suter & Associés, Lausanne, member of the Landwell network) as well as at KPMG Legal Lausanne. She has also practiced law in Geneva for several years, after having earned her law degree from the University of Lausanne.
